I started showing birds in 1997 to determine if my breeding efforts were resulting in improvements in quality. I won best in show in my first show so I knew I had an eye for picking and breeding superior show stock. My show results and awards can be viewed in detail using the links below for each year. I have one 7 best in shows (all breeds) with my society finches and in 18 of 22 shows my society finches I have not been beaten by anyone elses. Five times I've finished 2nd best in show and six times 3rd best in show.
